In a bid to improve the ecosystem of the Ghana Music Industry (GMI), @BlackLivesFLD lead filmmaker RUSSELL ASANTE J., in partnership with Ghanaian music producer NXWRTH (of La Meme Gang) and three (3) other anonymous industry executives, are taking this direct initiative to select one (1) YOUNG artist each & every month of 2024, to gift ONE TIME... a free 4K resolution music video & a 360 degree career assessment/mentorship opportunity!
Winner will also be given 3 reels of the same quality as the final music video, to help promote her/his brand or upcoming music video. They will also get a direct crash course on how to grow their audience or followers on most popular social media like TikTok etc.
Our plan is to effectively accelerate the digital brand identity & audio delivery threshold of each artist we select monthly. This is a one time opportunity to improve how you approach & present yourself as a music talent, in order to attract the best possible outcome.
Rules
- This is open to ALL upcoming & "underground" music artist ONLY.
- There is NO LIMIT to the number of times you can apply per month.
- THIS IS NOT A LIVE EVENT.
- Monthly applications opens from the 1st to 25th of every month.
- Only ONE artist will be selected after the monthly application closes on the 25th of each month.
- Selection, assessment/mentorship, filming & editing follows until the 5th of the following month. And then the cycle begins all over again.
- A crucial aspect of winning any competition is handling feedback & rejection.
- Only one (1) winner will be posted on @BlackLivesFLD Instagrams/TikTok, on or after the 20th.
- ALL application processing fees are NOT refundable.
- ALL applicants (regardless of all monthly outcome)... automatically qualify to attend & perform at a events scheduled for the end of December 2024
